Name - Charlie
Age - 26
Preferred Position – CB
Favourite Player – Alfredo 'bad boy' Morelos
Slide tackle and Echo Falls enthusiast Charlie joined us in 2019. After an impressive first year, he was named Players’ Player of the Season, despite sometimes arriving at matches only hours after being on the G-A-Y dancefloor. His exploits on club nights out means it comes as no surprise that he is now co-Social Sec.
Outside of slicing down strikers, Charlie’s passions include dropping countless thirst traps on the gram, touching up his 90s’ style blonde tips and tackling a series of Westlife songs on his beloved golden karaoke mic, which accompanies him wherever he goes.
1) Why did you join the Falcons?
After returning to London I was keen to join an inclusive team that played at a competitive level which also had a good social element to it too. The Falcons was everything I was looking for in a club and after winning promotion last season I'm really glad that I made the choice to join them!
2) What’s your best memory of the Falcons on the pitch?
Last season's 2-1 win away at Earlsfield. A really tough match in equally as tough conditions but we managed to fight for the win, all of which done with no proper keeper in goal for the first 20 mins or so!
3) What’s been your best memory of the Falcons off the pitch?
Those legendary karaoke nights at Tir Na Nog which have featured some iconic performances.
4) Who’s your most annoying teammate?
Will Oster - Because if anyone knows how to steal the goals, hopes and dreams off a defender, it's Will. His only redemption comes in the form of his pre-match changing room playlist which is full of bangers!
5) Why should someone join the Falcons?
If you're looking for a club that plays at a competitive level, helps you progress as a footballer but equally loves a few/many bevs off the pitch, then I would 100% recommend joining the Falcons.
