Awards Evening Winners!

On Friday night we held our annual awards evening, this year in the more informal setting of the manager's new apartment.

We had the usual amount of fun as we looked back on some of the more memorable moments of the season, both on and off the pitch, which naturally featured Alex's gym selfies not to mention all of the clothes-stripping fun we had in Liverpool. Check out our videos below.

However, there were a number of club members to recognise. Chris couldn't be with us on the evening but he followed up last season's joint-award of the Golden Boot by winning it outright this season. Paddy, who notched up an impressive number of goals himself, picked up the award for him.

The Most Improved award may have surprised the winner himself. Both Andrew and Abdul were strongly in the running but, after a super spell in goal over the winter that saw him pick up a Player of the Month award, the oldest member of the team and the Chairman, Matt, won his first ever awards night recognition.

The departing Andrew presented the Clubman award. After winning it last season, our favourite Australian was happy to hand the trophy to Cal, who only joined us a year ago but has always been ready to help out with training.

As for the Players' Player and Manager's Player awards, this was a rare year in which both awards went to the same man. Chris, Duncan and Andrew have all had very consistent season's up the spine of the team. However, it was clear from the player vote that there was one outstanding candidate. Jimmy has played in several positions this season and excelled in all of them. As a result, he's not just the new club captain, he's also our double winner of Player of the Season.

Congratulations to everyone who won on a super evening in south west London!
